Welcome to MA Fleet Driver Training where we provide the high level of training you need to meet today’s health and safety legal requirements for occupational road safety. Even if your staff are experienced, careful drivers with clean licences – even if you keep proper records – you still need to do more. This site shows you what you need to do to comply with the law and describes the courses we provide to help you. Occupational road safety is important to everyone who travels as part of their work: sales, service, delivery personnel, or management. If you are responsible for these people, taking care of occupational road risk is a critical part of your job.
Merely complying with road traffic law requirements - such as insurance, road fund licence, holding a valid driving licence - is not enough. Health and Safety law applies on the road just the same as in the office or factory. Risks should be managed effectively with a Health and Safety Management System; driver risk assessments need to be completed; advanced driver training might be necessary; and there’s the environment to consider with eco-driving an essential part of modern business practice.
